How to Teach Tactile Learners

(1½ - 8 hours)

All teachers have hands-on learners in their classrooms whether or not they feel equipped to teach them. This workshop is designed to help educators reach those kids. Participants create a variety of simple projects such as books and puppets. We then discuss how to easily incorporate the projects into the classroom to help hands-on learners succeed in all areas of the curriculum. The New York State Learning Standards will be addressed. This course has also been taught through the Teacher Center and BOCES.
